Meet Our Physicians

Dr. Robert Raden holds board certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology.  His research credits include participation as a Co-Investor in the National Eye Institute Age-Related Eye Disease Study, SnET2 Photodynamic Therapy for Age-Related Macular Degeneration, the Anecortave Study for Age-Related Macular Degeneration, the Vitrase Study for Vitreous Hemorrhage and the Steroid Infusion Study for Macular Edema.

Dr. Raden is a graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was named a Baltimore City Medical Society Scholar and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. Dr. Raden completed his residency in ophthalmology at Montefiore/Albert Einstein Medical Center in New York and his retina fellowship at the Foundation for Retinal Research.

Dr. Ronald J. Glatzer is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Ophthalmology and is sub-specialty trained in Retina and Vitreous. Dr. Glatzer graduated from the University of Vermont, Magna Cum Laude, and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed his Internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Glatzer obtained his Residency training in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

A recognized authority in his field, Dr. Glatzer is an active member in a number of medical societies and has instructed courses in vitreous and ultrasonography. He has served the South Florida community for over 30 years and has received numerous awards including a place in the “Best Doctors in America” for the last four years. He is also recognized as one of the “100 Best Physicians” by South Florida magazine.  Dr. Glatzer was born in Fairfield Connecticut and grew up there and in Forest Hills, New York.
